Review Process

All papers are subject to a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers from the International Technical Program Committee (TPC). Throughout the review process, both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa. Hence it is imperative that all authors work on concealing their identity in the content of the paper by ensuring the following:

  • Do not include any author names and affiliations under the title within the paper.

  • Do not include any acknowledgments.

  • Do not eliminate essential self-references or other references but limit self-references only to papers that are relevant for those reviewing the submitted paper.

  • Refer to your own published work in the third person. That is, use “In the previous work of Smith et al. [3]”, not “In our previous work [3]” .

  • Name your files with care and ensure document properties do not reveal your identity.

  • Papers not satisfying these guidelines may NOT be accepted for review.

Camera Ready Submission

After papers have been reviewed and accepted for presentation, authors will be required to submit their final camera ready version of their papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings. The final camera ready papers should then contain all necessary details regarding the authors and their affiliations. All accepted and presented papers will be included in the proceedings of NextComp 2024 and submitted for publication to IEEE Xplore under the condition that at least one author registers and attends the conference to present the paper.

Plagiarism and Double Submission

The IEEE also defines a set of guidelines which deal with plagiarised material and double submission which are taken seriously by the TPC. Authors are encouraged to consult the following IEEE Policies.
